ThebeginningofthegospelofJesusChristtheSonofGodAsitiswrittenintheprophetsBeholdIsendmymessengerbeforethyfacewhichshallpreparethywaybeforetheeThevoiceofonecryinginthewildernessPrepareyethewayoftheLordmakehispathsstraightJohndidbaptizeinthewildernessandpreachthebaptismofrepentancefortheremissionofsinsAndtherewentoutuntohimallthelandofJudaeaandtheyofJerusalemandwereallbaptizedofhimintheriverofJordanconfessingtheirsinsAndJohnwasclothedwithcamelshairandwithagirdleofaskinabouthisloinsandhedideatlocustsandwildhoneyAndpreachedsayingTherecomethonemightierthanIaftermethelatchetofwhoseshoesIamnotworthytostoopdownandunlooseIindeedhavebaptizedyouwithwaterbutheshallbaptizeyouwiththeHolyGhostAnditcametopassinthosedaysthatJesuscamefromNazarethofGalileeandwasbaptizedofJohninJordanAndstraightwaycomingupoutofthewaterhesawtheheavensopenedandtheSpiritlikeadovedescendinguponhimAndtherecameavoicefromheavensayingThouartmybelovedSoninwhomIamwellpleasedAndimmediatelytheSpiritdrivethhimintothewildernessAndhewasthereinthewildernessfortydaystemptedofSatanandwaswiththewildbeastsandtheangelsministereduntohimNowafterthatJohnwasputinprisonJesuscameintoGalileepreachingthegospelofthekingdomofGodAndsayingThetimeisfulfilledandthekingdomofGodisathandrepentyeandbelievethegospelNowashewalkedbytheseaofGalileehesawSimonandAndrewhisbrothercastinganetintotheseafortheywerefishersAndJesussaiduntothemComeyeaftermeandIwillmakeyoutobecomefishersofmenAndstraightwaytheyforsooktheirnetsandfollowedhimAndwhenhehadgonealittlefurtherthencehesawJamesthesonofZebedeeandJohnhisbrotherwhoalsowereintheshipmendingtheirnetsAndstraightwayhecalledthemandtheylefttheirfatherZebedeeintheshipwiththehiredservantsandwentafterhimAndtheywentintoCapernaumandstraightwayonthesabbathdayheenteredintothesynagogueandtaughtAndtheywereastonishedathisdoctrineforhetaughtthemasonethathadauthorityandnotasthescribesAndtherewasintheirsynagogueamanwithanuncleanspiritandhecriedoutSayingLetusalonewhathavewetodowiththeethouJesusofNazarethartthoucometodestroyusIknowtheewhothouarttheHolyOneofGodAndJesusrebukedhimsayingHoldthypeaceandcomeoutofhimAndwhentheuncleanspirithadtornhimandcriedwithaloudvoicehecameoutofhimAndtheywereallamazedinsomuchthattheyquestionedamongthemselvessayingWhatthingisthiswhatnewdoctrineisthisforwithauthoritycommandethheeventheuncleanspiritsandtheydoobeyhimAndimmediatelyhisfamespreadabroadthroughoutalltheregionroundaboutGalileeAndforthwithwhentheywerecomeoutofthesynagoguetheyenteredintothehouseofSimonandAndrewwithJamesandJohnButSimonswifesmotherlaysickofafeverandanontheytellhimofherAndhecameandtookherbythehandandliftedherupandimmediatelythefeverleftherandsheministereduntothemAndatevenwhenthesundidsettheybroughtuntohimallthatwerediseasedandthemthatwerepossessedwithdevilsAndallthecitywasgatheredtogetheratthedoorAndhehealedmanythatweresickofdiversdiseasesandcastoutmanydevilsandsufferednotthedevilstospeakbecausetheyknewhimAndinthemorningrisingupagreatwhilebeforedayhewentoutanddepartedintoasolitaryplaceandthereprayedAndSimonandtheythatwerewithhimfollowedafterhimAndwhentheyhadfoundhimtheysaiduntohimAllmenseekfortheeAndhesaiduntothemLetusgointothenexttownsthatImaypreachtherealsoforthereforecameIforthAndhepreachedintheirsynagoguesthroughoutallGalileeandcastoutdevilsAndtherecamealepertohimbeseechinghimandkneelingdowntohimandsayinguntohimIfthouwiltthoucanstmakemecleanAndJesusmovedwithcompassionputforthhishandandtouchedhimandsaithuntohimIwillbethoucleanAndassoonashehadspokenimmediatelytheleprosydepartedfromhimandhewascleansedAndhestraitlychargedhimandforthwithsenthimawayAndsaithuntohimSeethousaynothingtoanymanbutgothywayshewthyselftothepriestandofferforthycleansingthosethingswhichMosescommandedforatestimonyuntothemButhewentoutandbegantopublishitmuchandtoblazeabroadthematterinsomuchthatJesuscouldnomoreopenlyenterintothecitybutwaswithoutindesertplacesandtheycametohimfromeveryquarterAndagainheenteredintoCapernaumaftersomedaysanditwasnoisedthathewasinthehouseAndstraightwaymanyweregatheredtogetherinsomuchthattherewasnoroomtoreceivethemnonotsomuchasaboutthedoorandhepreachedtheworduntothemAndtheycomeuntohimbringingonesickofthepalsywhichwasborneoffourAndwhentheycouldnotcomenighuntohimforthepresstheyuncoveredtheroofwherehewasandwhentheyhadbrokenituptheyletdownthebedwhereinthesickofthepalsylayWhenJesussawtheirfaithhesaiduntothesickofthepalsySonthysinsbeforgiventheeButtherewerecertainofthescribessittingthereandreasoningintheirheartsWhydoththismanthusspeakblasphemieswhocanforgivesinsbutGodonlyAndimmediatelywhenJesusperceivedinhisspiritthattheysoreasonedwithinthemselveshesaiduntothemWhyreasonyethesethingsinyourheartsWhetherisiteasiertosaytothesickofthepalsyThysinsbeforgiventheeortosayAriseandtakeupthybedandwalkButthatyemayknowthattheSonofmanhathpoweronearthtoforgivesinshesaithtothesickofthepalsyIsayuntotheeAriseandtakeupthybedandgothywayintothinehouseAndimmediatelyhearosetookupthebedandwentforthbeforethemallinsomuchthattheywereallamazedandglorifiedGodsayingWeneversawitonthisfashionAndhewentforthagainbytheseasideandallthemultituderesorteduntohimandhetaughtthemAndashepassedbyhesawLevithesonofAlphaeussittingatthereceiptofcustomandsaiduntohimFollowmeAndhearoseandfollowedhimAnditcametopassthatasJesussatatmeatinhishousemanypublicansandsinnerssatalsotogetherwithJesusandhisdisciplesforthereweremanyandtheyfollowedhimAndwhenthescribesandPhariseessawhimeatwithpublicansandsinnerstheysaiduntohisdisciplesHowisitthatheeatethanddrinkethwithpublicansandsinnersWhenJesusheardithesaithuntothemTheythatarewholehavenoneedofthephysicianbuttheythataresickIcamenottocalltherighteousbutsinnerstorepentanceAndthedisciplesofJohnandofthePhariseesusedtofastandtheycomeandsayuntohimWhydothedisciplesofJohnandofthePhariseesfastbutthydisciplesfastnotAndJesussaiduntothemCanthechildrenofthebridechamberfastwhilethebridegroomiswiththemaslongastheyhavethebridegroomwiththemtheycannotfastButthedayswillcomewhenthebridegroomshallbetakenawayfromthemandthenshalltheyfastinthosedaysNomanalsosewethapieceofnewclothonanoldgarmentelsethenewpiecethatfilledituptakethawayfromtheoldandtherentismadeworseAndnomanputtethnewwineintooldbottleselsethenewwinedothburstthebottlesandthewineisspilledandthebottleswillbemarredbutnewwinemustbeputintonewbottlesAnditcametopassthathewentthroughthecornfieldsonthesabbathdayandhisdisciplesbeganastheywenttoplucktheearsofcornAndthePhariseessaiduntohimBeholdwhydotheyonthesabbathdaythatwhichisnotlawfulAndhesaiduntothemHaveyeneverreadwhatDaviddidwhenhehadneedandwasanhungredheandtheythatwerewithhimHowhewentintothehouseofGodinthedaysofAbiatharthehighpriestanddideattheshewbreadwhichisnotlawfultoeatbutforthepriestsandgavealsotothemwhichwerewithhimAndhesaiduntothemThesabbathwasmadeformanandnotmanforthesabbathThereforetheSonofmanisLordalsoofthesabbathAndheenteredagainintothesynagogueandtherewasamantherewhichhadawitheredhandAndtheywatchedhimwhetherhewouldhealhimonthesabbathdaythattheymightaccusehimAndhesaithuntothemanwhichhadthewitheredhandStandforthAndhesaithuntothemIsitlawfultodogoodonthesabbathdaysortodoeviltosavelifeortokillButtheyheldtheirpeaceAndwhenhehadlookedroundaboutonthemwithangerbeinggrievedforthehardnessoftheirheartshesaithuntothemanStretchforththinehandAndhestretcheditoutandhishandwasrestoredwholeastheotherAndthePhariseeswentforthandstraightwaytookcounselwiththeHerodiansagainsthimhowtheymightdestroyhimButJesuswithdrewhimselfwithhisdisciplestotheseaandagreatmultitudefromGalileefollowedhimandfromJudaeaAndfromJerusalemandfromIdumaeaandfrombeyondJordanandtheyaboutTyreandSidonagreatmultitudewhentheyhadheardwhatgreatthingshedidcameuntohimAndhespaketohisdisciplesthatasmallshipshouldwaitonhimbecauseofthemultitudelesttheyshouldthronghimForhehadhealedmanyinsomuchthattheypresseduponhimfortotouchhimasmanyashadplaguesAnduncleanspiritswhentheysawhimfelldownbeforehimandcriedsayingThouarttheSonofGodAndhestraitlychargedthemthattheyshouldnotmakehimknownAndhegoethupintoamountainandcallethuntohimwhomhewouldandtheycameuntohimAndheordainedtwelvethattheyshouldbewithhimandthathemightsendthemforthtopreachAndtohavepowertohealsicknessesandtocastoutdevilsAndSimonhesurnamedPeterAndJamesthesonofZebedeeandJohnthebrotherofJamesandhesurnamedthemBoanergeswhichisThesonsofthunderAndAndrewandPhilipandBartholomewandMatthewandThomasandJamesthesonofAlphaeusandThaddaeusandSimontheCanaaniteAndJudasIscariotwhichalsobetrayedhimandtheywentintoanhouseAndthemultitudecomethtogetheragainsothattheycouldnotsomuchaseatbreadAndwhenhisfriendsheardofittheywentouttolayholdonhimfortheysaidHeisbesidehimselfAndthescribeswhichcamedownfromJerusalemsaidHehathBeelzebubandbytheprinceofthedevilscastethheoutdevilsAndhecalledthemuntohimandsaiduntotheminparablesHowcanSatancastoutSatanAndifakingdombedividedagainstitselfthatkingdomcannotstandAndifahousebedividedagainstitselfthathousecannotstandAndifSatanriseupagainsthimselfandbedividedhecannotstandbuthathanendNomancanenterintoastrongmanshouseandspoilhisgoodsexcepthewillfirstbindthestrongmanandthenhewillspoilhishouseVerilyIsayuntoyouAllsinsshallbeforgivenuntothesonsofmenandblasphemieswherewithsoevertheyshallblasphemeButhethatshallblasphemeagainsttheHolyGhosthathneverforgivenessbutisindangerofeternaldamnationBecausetheysaidHehathanuncleanspiritTherecamethenhisbrethrenandhismotherandstandingwithoutsentuntohimcallinghimAndthemultitudesatabouthimandtheysaiduntohimBeholdthymotherandthybrethrenwithoutseekfortheeAndheansweredthemsayingWhoismymotherormybrethrenAndhelookedroundaboutonthemwhichsatabouthimandsaidBeholdmymotherandmybrethrenForwhosoevershalldothewillofGodthesameismybrotherandmysisterandmotherAndhebeganagaintoteachbytheseasideandtherewasgathereduntohimagreatmultitudesothatheenteredintoashipandsatintheseaandthewholemultitudewasbytheseaonthelandAndhetaughtthemmanythingsbyparablesandsaiduntotheminhisdoctrineHearkenBeholdtherewentoutasowertosowAnditcametopassashesowedsomefellbythewaysideandthefowlsoftheaircameanddevoureditupAndsomefellonstonygroundwhereithadnotmuchearthandimmediatelyitsprangupbecauseithadnodepthofearthButwhenthesunwasupitwasscorchedandbecauseithadnorootitwitheredawayAndsomefellamongthornsandthethornsgrewupandchokeditandityieldednofruitAndotherfellongoodgroundanddidyieldfruitthatsprangupandincreasedandbroughtforthsomethirtyandsomesixtyandsomeanhundredAndhesaiduntothemHethathathearstohearlethimhearAndwhenhewasalonetheythatwereabouthimwiththetwelveaskedofhimtheparableAndhesaiduntothemUntoyouitisgiventoknowthemysteryofthekingdomofGodbutuntothemthatarewithoutallthesethingsaredoneinparablesThatseeingtheymayseeandnotperceiveandhearingtheymayhearandnotunderstandlestatanytimetheyshouldbeconvertedandtheirsinsshouldbeforgiventhemAndhesaiduntothemKnowyenotthisparableandhowthenwillyeknowallparablesThesowersoweththewordAndthesearetheybythewaysidewherethewordissownbutwhentheyhaveheardSatancomethimmediatelyandtakethawaythewordthatwassownintheirheartsAndthesearetheylikewisewhicharesownonstonygroundwhowhentheyhaveheardthewordimmediatelyreceiveitwithgladnessAndhavenorootinthemselvesandsoendurebutforatimeafterwardwhenafflictionorpersecutionarisethforthewordssakeimmediatelytheyareoffendedAndthesearetheywhicharesownamongthornssuchashearthewordAndthecaresofthisworldandthedeceitfulnessofrichesandthelustsofotherthingsenteringinchokethewordanditbecomethunfruitfulAndthesearetheywhicharesownongoodgroundsuchashearthewordandreceiveitandbringforthfruitsomethirtyfoldsomesixtyandsomeanhundredAndhesaiduntothemIsacandlebroughttobeputunderabushelorunderabedandnottobesetonacandlestickForthereisnothinghidwhichshallnotbemanifestedneitherwasanythingkeptsecretbutthatitshouldcomeabroadIfanymanhaveearstohearlethimhearAndhesaiduntothemTakeheedwhatyehearwithwhatmeasureyemeteitshallbemeasuredtoyouanduntoyouthathearshallmorebegivenForhethathathtohimshallbegivenandhethathathnotfromhimshallbetakeneventhatwhichhehathAndhesaidSoisthekingdomofGodasifamanshouldcastseedintothegroundAndshouldsleepandrisenightanddayandtheseedshouldspringandgrowupheknowethnothowFortheearthbringethforthfruitofherselffirstthebladethentheearafterthatthefullcornintheearButwhenthefruitisbroughtforthimmediatelyheputtethinthesicklebecausetheharvestiscomeAndhesaidWhereuntoshallwelikenthekingdomofGodorwithwhatcomparisonshallwecompareitItislikeagrainofmustardseedwhichwhenitissownintheearthislessthanalltheseedsthatbeintheearthButwhenitissownitgrowethupandbecomethgreaterthanallherbsandshootethoutgreatbranchessothatthefowlsoftheairmaylodgeundertheshadowofitAndwithmanysuchparablesspakehetheworduntothemastheywereabletohearitButwithoutaparablespakehenotuntothemandwhentheywerealoneheexpoundedallthingstohisdisciplesAndthesamedaywhentheevenwascomehesaithuntothemLetuspassoveruntotheothersideAndwhentheyhadsentawaythemultitudetheytookhimevenashewasintheshipAndtherewerealsowithhimotherlittleshipsAndtherearoseagreatstormofwindandthewavesbeatintotheshipsothatitwasnowfullAndhewasinthehinderpartoftheshipasleeponapillowandtheyawakehimandsayuntohimMastercarestthounotthatweperishAndhearoseandrebukedthewindandsaiduntotheseaPeacebestillAndthewindceasedandtherewasagreatcalmAndhesaiduntothemWhyareyesofearfulhowisitthatyehavenofaithAndtheyfearedexceedinglyandsaidonetoanotherWhatmannerofmanisthisthateventhewindandtheseaobeyhimAndtheycameoveruntotheothersideoftheseaintothecountryoftheGadarenesAndwhenhewascomeoutoftheshipimmediatelytheremethimoutofthetombsamanwithanuncleanspiritWhohadhisdwellingamongthetombsandnomancouldbindhimnonotwithchainsBecausethathehadbeenoftenboundwithfettersandchainsandthechainshadbeenpluckedasunderbyhimandthefettersbrokeninpiecesneithercouldanymantamehimAndalwaysnightanddayhewasinthemountainsandinthetombscryingandcuttinghimselfwithstonesButwhenhesawJesusafaroffheranandworshippedhimAndcriedwithaloudvoiceandsaidWhathaveItodowiththeeJesusthouSonofthemosthighGodIadjuretheebyGodthatthoutormentmenotForhesaiduntohimComeoutofthemanthouuncleanspiritAndheaskedhimWhatisthynameAndheansweredsayingMynameisLegionforwearemanyAndhebesoughthimmuchthathewouldnotsendthemawayoutofthecountryNowtherewastherenighuntothemountainsagreatherdofswinefeedingAndallthedevilsbesoughthimsayingSendusintotheswinethatwemayenterintothemAndforthwithJesusgavethemleaveAndtheuncleanspiritswentoutandenteredintotheswineandtheherdranviolentlydownasteepplaceintotheseatheywereabouttwothousandandwerechokedintheseaAndtheythatfedtheswinefledandtolditinthecityandinthecountryAndtheywentouttoseewhatitwasthatwasdoneAndtheycometoJesusandseehimthatwaspossessedwiththedevilandhadthelegionsittingandclothedandinhisrightmindandtheywereafraidAndtheythatsawittoldthemhowitbefelltohimthatwaspossessedwiththedevilandalsoconcerningtheswineAndtheybegantoprayhimtodepartoutoftheircoastsAndwhenhewascomeintotheshiphethathadbeenpossessedwiththedevilprayedhimthathemightbewithhimHowbeitJesussufferedhimnotbutsaithuntohimGohometothyfriendsandtellthemhowgreatthingstheLordhathdonefortheeandhathhadcompassionontheeAndhedepartedandbegantopublishinDecapolishowgreatthingsJesushaddoneforhimandallmendidmarvelAndwhenJesuswaspassedoveragainbyshipuntotheothersidemuchpeoplegathereduntohimandhewasnighuntothesea
