aithheconsiderednothisownbodynowdeadwhenhewasaboutanhundredyearsoldneitheryetthedeadnessofSaraswombHestaggerednotatthepromiseofGodthroughunbeliefbutwasstronginfaithgivingglorytoGodAndbeingfullypersuadedthatwhathehadpromisedhewasablealsotoperformAndthereforeitwasimputedtohimforrighteousnessNowitwasnotwrittenforhissakealonethatitwasimputedtohimButforusalsotowhomitshallbeimputedifwebelieveonhimthatraisedupJesusourLordfromthedeadWhowasdeliveredforouroffencesandwasraisedagainforourjustificationThereforebeingjustifiedbyfaithwehavepeacewithGodthroughourLordJesusChristBywhomalsowehaveaccessbyfaithintothisgracewhereinwestandandrejoiceinhopeofthegloryofGodAndnotonlysobutwegloryintribulationsalsoknowingthattribulationworkethpatienceAndpatienceexperienceandexperiencehopeAndhopemakethnotashamedbecausetheloveofGodisshedabroadinourheartsbytheHolyGhostwhichisgivenuntousForwhenwewereyetwithoutstrengthinduetimeChristdiedfortheungodlyForscarcelyforarighteousmanwillonedieyetperadventureforagoodmansomewouldevendaretodieButGodcommendethhislovetowardusinthatwhilewewereyetsinnersChristdiedforusMuchmorethenbeingnowjustifiedbyhisbloodweshallbesavedfromwraththroughhimForifwhenwewereenemieswewerereconciledtoGodbythedeathofhisSonmuchmorebeingreconciledweshallbesavedbyhislifeAndnotonlysobutwealsojoyinGodthroughourLordJesusChristbywhomwehavenowreceivedtheatonementWhereforeasbyonemansinenteredintotheworldanddeathbysinandsodeathpasseduponallmenforthatallhavesinnedForuntilthelawsinwasintheworldbutsinisnotimputedwhenthereisnolawNeverthelessdeathreignedfromAdamtoMosesevenoverthemthathadnotsinnedafterthesimilitudeofAdamstransgressionwhoisthefigureofhimthatwastocomeButnotastheoffencesoalsoisthefreegiftForifthroughtheoffenceofonemanybedeadmuchmorethegraceofGodandthegiftbygracewhichisbyonemanJesusChristhathaboundeduntomanyAndnotasitwasbyonethatsinnedsoisthegiftforthejudgmentwasbyonetocondemnationbutthefreegiftisofmanyoffencesuntojustificationForifbyonemansoffencedeathreignedbyonemuchmoretheywhichreceiveabundanceofgraceandofthegiftofrighteousnessshallreigninlifebyoneJesusChristThereforeasbytheoffenceofonejudgmentcameuponallmentocondemnationevensobytherighteousnessofonethefreegiftcameuponallmenuntojustificationoflifeForasbyonemansdisobediencemanyweremadesinnerssobytheobedienceofoneshallmanybemaderighteousMoreoverthelawenteredthattheoffencemightaboundButwheresinaboundedgracedidmuchmoreaboundThatassinhathreigneduntodeathevensomightgracereignthroughrighteousnessuntoeternallifebyJesusChristourLordWhatshallwesaythenShallwecontinueinsinthatgracemayaboundGodforbidHowshallwethataredeadtosinliveanylongerthereinKnowyenotthatsomanyofusaswerebaptizedintoJesusChristwerebaptizedintohisdeathThereforeweareburiedwithhimbybaptismintodeaththatlikeasChristwasraisedupfromthedeadbythegloryoftheFatherevensowealsoshouldwalkinnewnessoflifeForifwehavebeenplantedtogetherinthelikenessofhisdeathweshallbealsointhelikenessofhisresurrectionKnowingthisthatouroldmaniscrucifiedwithhimthatthebodyofsinmightbedestroyedthathenceforthweshouldnotservesinForhethatisdeadisfreedfromsinNowifwebedeadwithChristwebelievethatweshallalsolivewithhimKnowingthatChristbeingraisedfromthedeaddiethnomoredeathhathnomoredominionoverhimForinthathediedhedieduntosinoncebutinthathelivethhelivethuntoGodLikewisereckonyealsoyourselvestobedeadindeeduntosinbutaliveuntoGodthroughJesusChristourLordLetnotsinthereforereigninyourmortalbodythatyeshouldobeyitintheluststhereofNeitheryieldyeyourmembersasinstrumentsofunrighteousnessuntosinbutyieldyourselvesuntoGodasthosethatarealivefromthedeadandyourmembersasinstrumentsofrighteousnessuntoGodForsinshallnothavedominionoveryouforyearenotunderthelawbutundergraceWhatthenshallwesinbecausewearenotunderthelawbutundergraceGodforbidKnowyenotthattowhomyeyieldyourselvesservantstoobeyhisservantsyearetowhomyeobeywhetherofsinuntodeathorofobedienceuntorighteousnessButGodbethankedthatyeweretheservantsofsinbutyehaveobeyedfromtheheartthatformofdoctrinewhichwasdeliveredyouBeingthenmadefreefromsinyebecametheservantsofrighteousnessIspeakafterthemannerofmenbecauseoftheinfirmityofyourfleshforasyehaveyieldedyourmembersservantstouncleannessandtoiniquityuntoiniquityevensonowyieldyourmembersservantstorighteousnessuntoholinessForwhenyeweretheservantsofsinyewerefreefromrighteousnessWhatfruithadyetheninthosethingswhereofyearenowashamedfortheendofthosethingsisdeathButnowbeingmadefreefromsinandbecomeservantstoGodyehaveyourfruituntoholinessandtheendeverlastinglifeForthewagesofsinisdeathbutthegiftofGodiseternallifethroughJesusChristourLordKnowyenotbrethrenforIspeaktothemthatknowthelawhowthatthelawhathdominionoveramanaslongashelivethForthewomanwhichhathanhusbandisboundbythelawtoherhusbandsolongashelivethbutifthehusbandbedeadsheisloosedfromthelawofherhusbandSothenifwhileherhusbandlivethshebemarriedtoanothermansheshallbecalledanadulteressbutifherhusbandbedeadsheisfreefromthatlawsothatsheisnoadulteressthoughshebemarriedtoanothermanWhereforemybrethrenyealsoarebecomedeadtothelawbythebodyofChristthatyeshouldbemarrie
