PaulanapostleofJesusChristbythewillofGodtothesaintswhichareatEphesusandtothefaithfulinChristJesusGracebetoyouandpeacefromGodourFatherandfromtheLordJesusChristBlessedbetheGodandFatherofourLordJesusChristwhohathblesseduswithallspiritualblessingsinheavenlyplacesinChristAccordingashehathchosenusinhimbeforethefoundationoftheworldthatweshouldbeholyandwithoutblamebeforehiminloveHavingpredestinatedusuntotheadoptionofchildrenbyJesusChristtohimselfaccordingtothegoodpleasureofhiswillTothepraiseofthegloryofhisgracewhereinhehathmadeusacceptedinthebelovedInwhomwehaveredemptionthroughhisbloodtheforgivenessofsinsaccordingtotherichesofhisgraceWhereinhehathaboundedtowardusinallwisdomandprudenceHavingmadeknownuntousthemysteryofhiswillaccordingtohisgoodpleasurewhichhehathpurposedinhimselfThatinthedispensationofthefulnessoftimeshemightgathertogetherinoneallthingsinChristbothwhichareinheavenandwhichareoneartheveninhimInwhomalsowehaveobtainedaninheritancebeingpredestinatedaccordingtothepurposeofhimwhoworkethallthingsafterthecounselofhisownwillThatweshouldbetothepraiseofhisglorywhofirsttrustedinChristInwhomyealsotrustedafterthatyeheardthewordoftruththegospelofyoursalvationinwhomalsoafterthatyebelievedyeweresealedwiththatholySpiritofpromiseWhichistheearnestofourinheritanceuntiltheredemptionofthepurchasedpossessionuntothepraiseofhisgloryWhereforeIalsoafterIheardofyourfaithintheLordJesusandloveuntoallthesaintsCeasenottogivethanksforyoumakingmentionofyouinmyprayersThattheGodofourLordJesusChristtheFatherofglorymaygiveuntoyouthespiritofwisdomandrevelationintheknowledgeofhimTheeyesofyourunderstandingbeingenlightenedthatyemayknowwhatisthehopeofhiscallingandwhattherichesofthegloryofhisinheritanceinthesaintsAndwhatistheexceedinggreatnessofhispowertouswardwhobelieveaccordingtotheworkingofhismightypowerWhichhewroughtinChristwhenheraisedhimfromthedeadandsethimathisownrighthandintheheavenlyplacesFaraboveallprincipalityandpowerandmightanddominionandeverynamethatisnamednotonlyinthisworldbutalsointhatwhichistocomeAndhathputallthingsunderhisfeetandgavehimtobetheheadoverallthingstothechurchWhichishisbodythefulnessofhimthatfillethallinallAndyouhathhequickenedwhoweredeadintrespassesandsinsWhereinintimepastyewalkedaccordingtothecourseofthisworldaccordingtotheprinceofthepoweroftheairthespiritthatnowworkethinthechildrenofdisobedienceAmongwhomalsoweallhadourconversationintimespastinthelustsofourfleshfulfillingthedesiresofthefleshandofthemindandwerebynaturethechildrenofwrathevenasothersButGodwhoisrichinmercyforhisgreatlovewherewithhelovedusEvenwhenweweredeadinsinshathquickenedustogetherwithChristbygraceyearesavedAndhathraisedusuptogetherandmadeussittogetherinheavenlyplacesinChristJesusThatintheagestocomehemightshewtheexceedingrichesofhisgraceinhiskindnesstowardusthroughChristJesusForbygraceareyesavedthroughfaithandthatnotofyourselvesitisthegiftofGodNotofworkslestanymanshouldboastForwearehisworkmanshipcreatedinChristJesusuntogoodworkswhichGodhathbeforeordainedthatweshouldwalkinthemWhereforerememberthatyebeingintimepastGentilesinthefleshwhoarecalledUncircumcisionbythatwhichiscalledtheCircumcisioninthefleshmadebyhandsThatatthattimeyewerewithoutChristbeingaliensfromthecommonwealthofIsraelandstrangersfromthecovenantsofpromisehavingnohopeandwithoutGodintheworldButnowinChristJesusyewhosometimeswerefaroffaremadenighbythebloodofChristForheisourpeacewhohathmadebothoneandhathbrokendownthemiddlewallofpartitionbetweenusHavingabolishedinhisfleshtheenmityeventhelawofcommandmentscontainedinordinancesfortomakeinhimselfoftwainonenewmansomakingpeaceAndthathemightreconcilebothuntoGodinonebodybythecrosshavingslaintheenmitytherebyAndcameandpreachedpeacetoyouwhichwereafaroffandtothemthatwerenighForthroughhimwebothhaveaccessbyoneSpirituntotheFatherNowthereforeyearenomorestrangersandforeignersbutfellowcitizenswiththesaintsandofthehouseholdofGodAndarebuiltuponthefoundationoftheapostlesandprophetsJesusChristhimselfbeingthechiefcornerstoneInwhomallthebuildingfitlyframedtogethergrowethuntoanholytempleintheLordInwhomyealsoarebuildedtogetherforanhabitationofGodthroughtheSpiritForthiscauseIPaultheprisonerofJesusChristforyouGentilesIfyehaveheardofthedispensationofthegraceofGodwhichisgivenmetoyouwardHowthatbyrevelationhemadeknownuntomethemysteryasIwroteaforeinfewwordsWherebywhenyereadyemayunderstandmyknowledgeinthemysteryofChristWhichinotherageswasnotmadeknownuntothesonsofmenasitisnowrevealeduntohisholyapostlesandprophetsbytheSpiritThattheGentilesshouldbefellowheirsandofthesamebodyandpartakersofhispromiseinChristbythegospelWhereofIwasmadeaministeraccordingtothegiftofthegraceofGodgivenuntomebytheeffectualworkingofhispowerUntomewhoamlessthantheleastofallsaintsisthisgracegiventhatIshouldpreachamongtheGentilestheunsearchablerichesofChristAndtomakeallmenseewhatisthefellowshipofthemysterywhichfromthebeginningoftheworldhathbeenhidinGodwhocreatedallthingsbyJesusChristTotheintentthatnowuntotheprincipalitiesandpowersinheavenlyplacesmightbeknownbythechurchthemanifoldwisdomofGodAccordingtotheeternalpurposewhichhepurposedinChristJesusourLordInwhomwehaveboldnessandaccesswithconfidencebythefaithofhimWhereforeIdesirethatyefaintnotatmytribulationsforyouwhichisyourgloryForthiscauseIbowmykneesuntotheFatherofourLordJesusChristOfwhomthewholefamilyinheavenandearthisnamedThathewouldgrantyouaccordingtotherichesofhisglorytobestrengthenedwithmightbyhisSpiritintheinnermanThatChristmaydwellinyourheartsbyfaiththatyebeingrootedandgroundedinloveMaybeabletocomprehendwithallsaintswhatisthebreadthandlengthanddepthandheightAndtoknowtheloveofChristwhichpassethknowledgethatyemightbefilledwithallthefulnessofGodNowuntohimthatisabletodoexceedingabundantlyaboveallthatweaskorthinkaccordingtothepowerthatworkethinusUntohimbegloryinthechurchbyChristJesusthroughoutallagesworldwithoutendAmenIthereforetheprisoneroftheLordbeseechyouthatyewalkworthyofthevocationwherewithyearecalledWithalllowlinessandmeeknesswithlongsufferingforbearingoneanotherinloveEndeavouringtokeeptheunityoftheSpiritinthebondofpeaceThereisonebodyandoneSpiritevenasyearecalledinonehopeofyourcallingOneLordonefaithonebaptismOneGodandFatherofallwhoisaboveallandthroughallandinyouallButuntoeveryoneofusisgivengraceaccordingtothemeasureofthegiftofChristWhereforehesaithWhenheascendeduponhighheledcaptivitycaptiveandgavegiftsuntomenNowthatheascendedwhatisitbutthathealsodescendedfirstintothelowerpartsoftheearthHethatdescendedisthesamealsothatascendedupfaraboveallheavensthathemightfillallthingsAndhegavesomeapostlesandsomeprophetsandsomeevangelistsandsomepastorsandteachersFortheperfectingofthesaintsfortheworkoftheministryfortheedifyingofthebodyofChristTillweallcomeintheunityofthefaithandoftheknowledgeoftheSonofGoduntoaperfectmanuntothemeasureofthestatureofthefulnessofChristThatwehenceforthbenomorechildrentossedtoandfroandcarriedaboutwitheverywindofdoctrinebythesleightofmenandcunningcraftinesswherebytheylieinwaittodeceiveButspeakingthetruthinlovemaygrowupintohiminallthingswhichistheheadevenChristFromwhomthewholebodyfitlyjoinedtogetherandcompactedbythatwhicheveryjointsuppliethaccordingtotheeffectualworkinginthemeasureofeverypartmakethincreaseofthebodyuntotheedifyingofitselfinloveThisIsaythereforeandtestifyintheLordthatyehenceforthwalknotasotherGentileswalkinthevanityoftheirmindHavingtheunderstandingdarkenedbeingalienatedfromthelifeofGodthroughtheignorancethatisinthembecauseoftheblindnessoftheirheartWhobeingpastfeelinghavegiventhemselvesoveruntolasciviousnesstoworkalluncleannesswithgreedinessButyehavenotsolearnedChristIfsobethatyehaveheardhimandhavebeentaughtbyhimasthetruthisinJesusThatyeputoffconcerningtheformerconversationtheoldmanwhichiscorruptaccordingtothedeceitfullustsAndberenewedinthespiritofyourmindAndthatyeputonthenewmanwhichafterGodiscreatedinrighteousnessandtrueholinessWhereforeputtingawaylyingspeakeverymantruthwithhisneighbourforwearemembersoneofanotherBeyeangryandsinnotletnotthesungodownuponyourwrathNeithergiveplacetothedevilLethimthatstolestealnomorebutratherlethimlabourworkingwithhishandsthethingwhichisgoodthathemayhavetogivetohimthatneedethLetnocorruptcommunicationproceedoutofyourmouthbutthatwhichisgoodtotheuseofedifyingthatitmayministergraceuntothehearersAndgrievenottheholySpiritofGodwherebyyearesealeduntothedayofredemptionLetallbitternessandwrathandangerandclamourandevilspeakingbeputawayfromyouwithallmaliceAndbeyekindonetoanothertenderheartedforgivingoneanotherevenasGodforChristssakehathforgivenyouBeyethereforefollowersofGodasdearchildrenAndwalkinloveasChristalsohathlovedusandhathgivenhimselfforusanofferingandasacrificetoGodforasweetsmellingsavourButfornicationandalluncleannessorcovetousnessletitnotbeoncenamedamongyouasbecomethsaintsNeitherfilthinessnorfoolishtalkingnorjestingwhicharenotconvenientbutrathergivingofthanksForthisyeknowthatnowhoremongernoruncleanpersonnorcovetousmanwhoisanidolaterhathanyinheritanceinthekingdomofChristandofGodLetnomandeceiveyouwithvainwordsforbecauseofthesethingscomeththewrathofGoduponthechildrenofdisobedienceBenotyethereforepartakerswiththemForyeweresometimesdarknessbutnowareyelightintheLordwalkaschildrenoflightForthefruitoftheSpiritisinallgoodnessandrighteousnessandtruthProvingwhatisacceptableuntotheLordAndhavenofellowshipwiththeunfruitfulworksofdarknessbutratherreprovethemForitisashameeventospeakofthosethingswhicharedoneoftheminsecretButallthingsthatarereprovedaremademanifestbythelightforwhatsoeverdothmakemanifestislightWhereforehesaithAwakethouthatsleepestandarisefromthedeadandChristshallgivetheelightSeethenthatyewalkcircumspectlynotasfoolsbutaswiseRedeemingthetimebecausethedaysareevilWhereforebeyenotunwisebutunderstandingwhatthewilloftheLordisAndbenotdrunkwithwinewhereinisexcessbutbefilledwiththeSpiritSpeakingtoyourselvesinpsalmsandhymnsandspiritualsongssingingandmakingmelodyinyourhearttotheLordGivingthanksalwaysforallthingsuntoGodandtheFatherinthenameofourLordJesusChristSubmittingyourselvesonetoanotherinthefearofGodWivessubmityourselvesuntoyourownhusbandsasuntotheLordForthehusbandistheheadofthewifeevenasChrististheheadofthechurchandheisthesaviourofthebodyThereforeasthechurchissubjectuntoChristsoletthewivesbetotheirownhusbandsineverythingHusbandsloveyourwivesevenasChristalsolovedthechurchandgavehimselfforitThathemightsanctifyandcleanseitwiththewashingofwaterbythewordThathemightpresentittohimselfagloriouschurchnothavingspotorwrinkleoranysuchthingbutthatitshouldbeholyandwithoutblemishSooughtmentolovetheirwivesastheirownbodiesHethatlovethhiswifelovethhimselfFornomaneveryethatedhisownfleshbutnourishethandcherishethitevenastheLordthechurchForwearemembersofhisbodyofhisfleshandofhisbonesForthiscauseshallamanleavehisfatherandmotherandshallbejoineduntohiswifeandtheytwoshallbeonefleshThisisagreatmysterybutIspeakconcerningChristandthechurchNeverthelessleteveryoneofyouinparticularsolovehiswifeevenashimselfandthewifeseethatshereverenceherhusbandChildrenobeyyourparentsintheLordforthisisrightHonourthyfatherandmotherwhichisthefirstcommandmentwithpromiseThatitmaybewellwiththeeandthoumayestlivelongontheearthAndyefathersprovokenotyourchildrentowrathbutbringthemupinthenurtureandadmonitionoftheLordServantsbeobedienttothemthatareyourmastersaccordingtothefleshwithfearandtremblinginsinglenessofyourheartasuntoChristNotwitheyeserviceasmenpleasersbutastheservantsofChristdoingthewillofGodfromtheheartWithgoodwilldoingserviceastotheLordandnottomenKnowingthatwhatsoevergoodthinganymandoeththesameshallhereceiveoftheLordwhetherhebebondorfreeAndyemastersdothesamethingsuntothemforbearingthreateningknowingthatyourMasteralsoisinheavenneitheristhererespectofpersonswithhimFinallymybrethrenbestrongintheLordandinthepowerofhismightPutonthewholearmourofGodthatyemaybeabletostandagainstthewilesofthedevilForwewrestlenotagainstfleshandbloodbutagainstprincipalitiesagainstpowersagainsttherulersofthedarknessofthisworldagainstspiritualwickednessinhighplacesWhereforetakeuntoyouthewholearmourofGodthatyemaybeabletowithstandintheevildayandhavingdonealltostandStandthereforehavingyourloinsgirtaboutwithtruthandhavingonthebreastplateofrighteousnessAndyourfeetshodwiththepreparationofthegospelofpeaceAbovealltakingtheshieldoffaithwherewithyeshallbeabletoquenchallthefierydartsofthewickedAndtakethehelmetofsalvationandtheswordoftheSpiritwhichisthewordofGodPrayingalwayswithallprayerandsupplicationintheSpiritandwatchingthereuntowithallperseveranceandsupplicationforallsaintsAndformethatutterancemaybegivenuntomethatImayopenmymouthboldlytomakeknownthemysteryofthegospelForwhichIamanambassadorinbondsthatthereinImayspeakboldlyasIoughttospeakButthatyealsomayknowmyaffairsandhowIdoTychicusabelovedbrotherandfaithfulministerintheLordshallmakeknowntoyouallthingsWhomIhavesentuntoyouforthesamepurposethatyemightknowouraffairsandthathemightcomfortyourheartsPeacebetothebrethrenandlovewithfaithfromGodtheFatherandtheLordJesusChristGracebewithallthemthatloveourLordJesusChristinsincerityAmen
